Dusit reveals its first all-inclusive resort and spa in the Maldives
23 Jul 2025 Dusit Hotels and Resorts has soft-launched the group’s first all-inclusive lifestyle resort DusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives, with a Namm Spa.Dusit Hotels and Resorts is the hotel arm of Dusit International, a Thai hotel and property development company. The group’s portfolio has nearly 300 properties under a total of nine brands across 18 countries.
Launching officially in Q4, the 127-villa DusitD2 Feydhoo will be the second Dusit-branded property in the Maldives, following the Dusit Thani Maldives, which opened in 2012.
The new all-inclusive 94,500sq m resort is on a pristine natural island in the country’s North Malé Atoll, minutes away from Velana International Airport by speedboat.
It is fringed by a spacious lagoon and thriving coral reefs, offering guests access to vibrant marine life and diving sites. For example, visitors can visit Feydhoo Cave, where reef sharks and eagle rays swim.
The resort’s accommodation ranges from beachfront retreats to overwater sanctuaries with indoor-outdoor living spaces, private decks and plunge pools.
Gilles Cretallaz, chief operating officer at Dusit International, told Spa Business, "With the continued success of our luxury offering at Dusit Thani Maldives, we saw an opportunity to expand our presence in the market by catering to a new and growing
segment – younger travellers and families seeking a more playful, all-inclusive escape that still prioritises wellness, comfort, and meaningful connection.
"Rather than compete, DusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives is designed to complement our existing property by offering a different style of stay," added Cretallaz. "DusitD2 will be vibrant, fun, and refreshing, and purposefully curated for relaxed, upscale experiences."
The Namm Spa
The Namm Spa has 10 treatment rooms, a sauna, steamroom and hot tub.
A spokesperson for the resort told Spa Business that skincare at the spa will be supplied by Phytomer for facials and Thai aromatherapy brand I plus Q for body therapies.
Treatments
As part of the all-inclusive model, the Namm Spa offers a complimentary 30-minute massage.
The spa offers a range of signature treatments, therapeutic massages, couples and shared massages and it even has family options.
The 90-minute Family Time Spa treatment is described as a joyful bonding experience featuring a synchronised massage for parents and children, including a playful Fun Feet Ritual.
The spa’s Little Stars Spa Rituals are a collection of treatments on offer that last 30-40 minutes and are designed just for children. They range in price from US$40-60 (€34-51, £30-44).
Little Star Massage – this is a soothing massage to help children feel relaxed and comfortable.
Mini Glow Facial – This is a hydrating facial that is designed for sun-exposed or delicate skin.
Fun Feet Ritual – Available on its own and separately from the Family Time Spa treatment, this therapy involves soaking the feet before receiving an exfoliating and hydrating massage.
Other leisure facilities
The property has a fitness centre, kitted out with Life Fitness equipment and a yoga studio that offers daily beachfront sessions.
There is also a water sports centre where guests can use equipment to go kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkelling.
The property has an infinity pool and a separate children’s pool – in addition to a room for teens and a kids club.
There are five different dining venues and a rooftop bar serving island-inspired cocktails. Guests can also receive floating breakfasts in their accommodation’s plunge pools.
Entertainment at the resort includes live DJ sets and beach cinema nights.
Cretallaz continued: “DusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives brings a bold new energy to the Maldives while staying true to Dusit’s signature Thai-inspired gracious hospitality. Thoughtfully designed for the young and the young at heart, this vibrant, all-inclusive resort is more than just a place to stay; it’s a lifestyle destination offering exceptional marine experiences, curated adventures, and effortless escapes in a stunning setting.
"It’s a place where the spirit of discovery meets the comfort of modern, all-inclusive hospitality – perfect for travellers who want to do it all, or nothing at all,” he added.
